Pretty crowded when the University students are in town, but not as much during the Summer. We finally made it in recently and enjoyed it. The menu is diverse, offering items not normally seen in other places around town. Prices are a little cheaper, too. Margaritas are good and not light on the tequila. We'll be back.

Went to this restaurant on Cinco de Mayo, which for a Mexican restaurant it should either be their best day or their worst day of the year. I think it was a bad day for them. We went with a larger group- 7 (family and college kids, not just excited 'Bama grads) and around 9pm when we arrived, the waitress was not having it. I understand she had had a very long day, but we felt as though we were bothering her the whole time and she just made us super uncomfortable. While the food is cheap, it's not very good. It didn't taste authentic, it tasted quick and flavorless. I would say this is a good spot if you have a weird craving for street tacos.

Arriving early in town for a concert we wanted to check this area out a little closer, and came across Don Tono's. Indoor and outdoor seating available, since it wasn't too hot we opted to hang out outside.

Went in and let the waiter know we were there and he brought food and drink menu's. A few minutes later he had chips and salsa for us. We opted to get a pitcher of Raspberry Margaritas to split among the 5 of us. Very reasonably priced at $20 and it yielded about 6 glasses total. Really flavored good! they probably had about 20 different flavors so you can get pretty creative if you want.

Chips and Salsa weren't bad and served as a good snack until we were ready to get some dinner. We didn't order food here, but the menu had plenty of choices and were really priced quite well. I will definitely be returning to try out their lunch or dinner menu based on the other great reviews and prices.

Staff was really attentive and took really good care of us. Brought us water as we waited for the pitcher of Margaritas. Came to check on us an fill up the chips and salsa.

This is located in a great area and I look forward to coming back and eating here and exploring a little more.

Went to Don Tonos for lunch. It was my first time there in a while. I wasn't too hungry so I just ordered some chicken nachos. The food came out pretty quick and they were decent. I would have preferred some queso on them instead of melted shredded cheese. They did mess up the bill as well.

Been to most Mexican Restaurants in Tuscaloosa and this is my favorite. Chips and salsa were great and the fried Burrito was delicious. I will definitely be back. When I left I was happy and full as a tick!!
